SIMPLE SIMON : The easier version of Spider Solitaire 4 Suits using one deck of standard playing cards. The objective and the rules are the same with the Spider Solitaire. The remaining 7 piles are arranged like the standard layout of Klondike or Solitaire card game. The first column is an empty pile and any card can be placed on it during the game. SPIDERETTE : This version is the easier version of Spider Solitaire using only one deck of standard playing cards with one suit. Scorpion Solitaire only allows the King to be moved into an empty column. There are only 3 remaining cards on the Stock which will be dealt only once. All the cards in the Tableau except the 12 cards (3 cards on each 4 columns from the leftmost) are faced up. There are seven columns in the Tableau with 7 cards on each. SCORPION SOLITAIRE : It uses only one deck of standard playing cards but the suits are 4 thus, making the game a little bit difficult to win. A high level of problem-solving skill must be utilized in playing the game. The possibility of winning is not that high. This is indeed the most challenging version. SPIDER SOLITAIRE 4 SUITS : (Advanced Level) uses 104 cards similar with the Spider Solitaire Suit 1 and 2 but 4 suits are used. The version needs a little more of problem-solving skills and a pinch of strategic card movement know-how. SPIDER SOLITAIRE 2 SUITS : (Intermediate Level) uses 104 cards similar with the Spider Solitaire Suit 1 but 2 suits are used. It is rather easy and entertaining compared to the other variants of Spider Solitaire. The game has a high possibility of winning. This variation is suited to those who are newbies in playing Spider Solitaire. SPIDER SOLITAIRE 1 SUIT : (Beginner Level) only uses 1 suit for all the 104 cards. A card or set of cards can be moved to the empty column as long as it is already arranged from highest to lowest rank. Unlike Solitaire or Klondike, in Spider Solitaire, the player has the liberty to move any card into an empty column whenever necessary. The same process applies until the player manages to make a set of consecutively arranged cards. Then, arrangement of cards will be done again. Each card will be placed on each column in the Tableau. The deal from the Stock will reveal 10 cards. In the event that there is no possible legal move among the different arranged and revealed cards in the Tableau, the first deal of Stock is needed. All cards to be moved must be consecutively arranged from highest to lowest and with the same suit (if playing Spider Solitaire Suit 2 and 4).Once the player is able to make a set of cards arranged from King going to Ace, the set of cards will automatically be placed in the empty pile on the Foundations. A card or a set of cards in descending pattern can be moved or transferred within the Tableau. Hence, only 5 deals from the Stock are possible to be drawn.Īt the start, all the revealed cards among the 10 columns must be arranged in a descending manner. Each set is revealed when the player draws the deal. The remaining 50 cards will be placed in the Stock divided into 5 sets. Out of the 104 cards, 54 cards will be arranged in the Tableau. The Spider Solitaire 1 uses only a single suit, usually a heart though some versions of the games use clubs or spades. Depending on the level of difficulty, the game uses 1 suit, 2 suits or 4 suits. The objective of the game is similar to other solitaire card games - completing the 8 piles in the Foundations and clearing the Tableau.
